Dr. Courtney Jackson offers comprehensive evaluations to assess for food intolerances and hormone imbalances that may be impacting mood, energy, sleep, skin, reproductive health, and digestion. Dr. Jackson is committed to listening to each of her patient's healthcare concerns and to providing individualized care to each. She utilizes natural treatments to help patients regain balance in their body and mind and to support detoxification pathways. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Jackson currently serves as the Lead Physician for the ECO Project. This is a community-based program supported by NCNM and Bob's Red Mill. The program aims to promote whole body nutrition for children and families and to decrease the prevalence of childhood obesity in our community.

Courtney Jackson grew up in a conventional medical family in the Midwest. Her close family members consist of a cardiologist, an orthopedic doctor, a conventional medical student, and a nurse anesthesiologist. Her Naturopathic Doctor degree beautifully rounds out the medical bunch and has added a dynamic touch to family conversations. Courtney graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Resource Ecology Management. Upon graduation, she began her quest for a profession based upon the healing power of nature.

Following her love of mountain life, she moved to Summit County, Colorado. She soon reconnected with her medical interests and worked as an EMT and a medical interpreter for Spanish-speaking patients. Ultimately, the pursuit of naturopathic medical school would offer her the perfect combination of primary care medicine training and the expert instruction on the use of natural medicines.

Dr. Jackson graduated from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. During her training, she completed a selective, one-year internship on a cardio-pulmonary rotation with Dr. Martin Milner at the Center for Natural Medicine in Portland. Because of her upbringing and clinical training experience, Dr. Jackson believes very strongly in an integrative approach to healthcare to best serve her patients' needs.
